Stars Aligned

Quilt pattern Tablerunner

It's been awhile since I have made up a new tablerunner pattern and thought it was about time! I love the reds in the Fleur de Noel and since I love star blocks, it was the perfect combo!

I was so excited about getting started and penciled out the measurements and went to cutting. The only problem is I didn't look at my notes while I was cutting and instead of cutting the size I needed, I cut all the little squares too small. So back to the cutting table...and the Halloween candy made an appearance even though I vowed the bag of candy would not be opened before Halloween.

Got everything cut and was finally able to sew. After sewing about half of the flying geese units, I realized I sewed some of the fabric together wrong. I sew a lot with Bella Solids and there really isn't a wrong or right side...but with the French General Pearl...there is. So out came the seam ripper and some more Halloween candy!

After everything was fixed, those cute little star blocks came together pretty fast and easy...and even with all of my mistakes and Halloween candy breaks...I was able to finish this tablerunner in an afternoon!

This is seriously an easy pattern to put together and you'll have such a stunning tablerunner for the holiday season...or really, all year round!

Kits are available in the shop as well as the pattern in both PDF and paper versions!
